If noticeable broadleaf weeds have already emerged, SPOT SPRAY with Weed Free Zone, Trimec, Escalade, or T-Zone

Round 3: Late May and ONLY if pre-emergent has not been applied

Aerate to promote growth and apply

Round 4: Apply at the beginning of each month (June, July, and August)

If noticeable grassy weeds appear, SPOT SPRAY with Sedge Hammer, Dismiss, Q4, or Drive

  • DO NOT spray selective herbicides in the heat of the day
  • Sedge Hammer and Dismiss only control nut grass
  • Q4 and Drive control crabgrass, dallisgrass, and goosegrass
  • DO NOT spray any selective herbicides on newly established Bermuda seed
